Ketamine dreams

K-hole Day! Tyler woke up totally exhausted. He didn’t sleep well and his pain management needed an adjustment. See, he has a broken rib, and some minor contusions in his chest, so coughing is difficult. But he NEEDS to cough.

This is because fluid can build up in his lungs, and become pneumonia, and that's bad business. But pain meds come with a physical addiction cost, so they switched him to ketamine. He spent the afternoon vibing with his AirPods and enjoyed a respite from the harder edges of the world.

I took advantage of his plunge, and also took an easier day.
