Burger Birthday
Join me on Saturday for Oakland's best burgers, chicken sandwiches, and wings at Sideshow Kitchen. Sideshow has been a key hub for the North Oakland community for the last eight years–serving great food while supporting local entrepreneurship, mutual aid, and social justice initiatives at the same time. Mike and Salma have also been great friends and a big part of the extended community helping me recover from my injury, so I figured I'd show my gratitude to them the best way I know: by bringing them a big group of customers this weekend.
Oh yeah, and it's also my birthday so, you know... cake and stuff.
We'll be there from noon to 4:00 or thereabouts. Come for the whole thing or just stop by when you can!
