Arthur visit!

Arthur made it to school! He overcame so much just to get up, get dressed, get out the door. Thanks to  Cielo for supporting Arthur’s transition to school! He made it halfway through the day and wanted to see his dad. So we congratulated him for making it this far, and then made the drive to see his dad. Arthur got a tour of the whole rehab floor including PT, the tilt table, the owl in the garden, the kitchen, and he got to go for two rides on his dad’s lap as I wheeled them from his room to PT and back. It was a busy and good day.

So it turns out OT is WAY more difficult than PT. Tyler played the most intense game of “Connect Four.” So much leaning and stretching, and with that broken rib, makes for a strenuous OT session.

After I left with Arthur, our friend Jeff stopped by for a visit. And by “stopped by” I mean, he flew all the way from London. Tyler also got his first real shower since his accident, it was “great, but exhausting.” I can’t wait to hear more about it tomorrow.

He also got his first bit of mail yesterday,. Tyler will be there through the first week of March, so if you’re feeling writerly, he loves a letter or a postcard.
